Wire-O still the most popular choice.
Spirax has the versatility and capacity to bind all quantities from a ‘one-off’ sample for a designer to very large production runs of 100’s of thousands.
The practical benefits of wire-o as opposed to glued or stitched publications is that they can lie flat easily or fold back on themselves without folding shut or damaging the spine of the book.
The design benefits of wire-o include the availability of a wide range of colours, a sample swatch of which is available on request. Books with varying sizes of leaves, french folded leaves, split leaves, shaped leaves and different weights of paper or board can be easily and stylishly bound using wire-o.
The photo to the right depicts from the top:- a standard wire-o book with stepped leaves, a standard wire-o book with yellow coloured wire, a half canadian wire-o bound book.
Many wire-o binding options are available, these are detailed in the Technical section.
